What’s on the table today?: Jonathan Taylor Week 2 player props to watch

Yesterday I highlighted the games in Week 2 that, at least at this early date, are looking like good bets to make this weekend in the NFL. The Packers laying 10.5 versus a Lions team that nearly came back against the 49ers? Yea, I’ll take the Lions and the points. The Browns opening as 12.5 points favorites over the Texans who won straight-up over the Jags? No way, I’ll take Houston and the points there. If you didn’t read my article yesterday go back and take a look for my other early “best bets”.

This Sunday in Week 2 of the NFL season I’m also going to be looking for a few different player prop bets and this morning I’ve found one I really like. Jonathan Taylor to go OVER 2.5 receptions versus the Rams.

In Week 1 against the Seahawks the former Badgers star running back tallied just 56 yards on 17 carries, but did do damage working out of the back-field in the passing game catching six balls for 60 yards. The Rams are surely a great defense, maybe the best in the NFL, however, the number here, 2.5 catches for a guy like Taylor who’ll be relied upon very heavily is too low to pass up, so I’m not going to.

I’m taking Jonathan Taylor OVER 2.5 receptions versus the Rams in Week 2.

I’d also go OVER on the prop for Jonathan Taylor on total receiving yards…..the number right now is a staggeringly low 13.5 yards. In a game. After dude just racked up 6 catches and 60 yards. This spot again is WAY to juicy for me to pass up.

I’m taking Jonathan Taylor OVER 13.5 receiving yards versus the Rams in Week 2.
