What’s on the table today?: Jon Denton Special: NBA Draft player props

Tonight the NBA Draft will see the Pistons with the number one overall selection with a chance to correct history after their ill-fated drafting of Darko Milicic in the 2004 class that featured LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Carmelo Anthony and other SUPERSTARS that Detroit passed on with the number 2 pick.

The current consensus is that Oklahoma State’s Cade Cunningham will be the number one pick and for good reason, the kid is a STUD. I personally think that Jalen Green, likely the 2nd pick tonight, is the better prospect averaging 17.9 points per game in the G-League Ignite against pros. Green’s athletic ability and scoring ability will make this guy a 10 time all-star, but Cunningham has the size (6’ 8”), can pass, handle the rock and score with the best of them. He reminds a lot of scouts of Luka Doncic.

After Cunningham and Green the consensus seems to be USC’s Evan Mobley who has drawn comparisons to Anthony Davis and Chris Bosh, and then of course there is Gonzaga guard Jalen Suggs who dominated the NCAA Tournament.

No matter who gets picked where, most NBA folks think this year’s draft could go down as one of the best in recent memory….which is VERY exciting as an NBA fan.

For today’s Jon Denton Special, Jon took a stab at THREE player props for tonight’s NBA Draft each offering decent value and pretty fair vig. If you didn’t hear Jon on the show this morning, below you’ll find his JDS; the OVER/UNDER player props on landing spots for Davion Mitchell, Corey Kispert and Luka Garza. Good luck and enjoy the draft!!

Corey Kispert (OVER draft position 13.5 *meaning Jon is betting on Kispert to be drafted AFTER pick 14*) (-130) BetMGM

Davion Mithcell (OVER draft position 12.5) (-125) BetMGM

Luka Garza (UNDER draft position 54.5) (-115) BetMGM
