The West Salem girls basketball team are back in Green Bay for the state tournament for the second consecutive year, but this time in a larger division.
The 4th seeded Panthers (24-4) will take on number 1 seed Pewaukee (27-1) in a Division 2 semifinal this afternoon with the tip off at 1:35.
The Panthers made the state tournament last year in D3, falling to eventual champ Keewaskum 46-34 in the semifinals.
Pewaukee lost in the championship game of D2 last year to Notre Dame, ending their season at 28-2.
Junior forward Megan Johnson leads West Salem in scoring with 23 points per game.
