La Crosse’s Davis, Badgers look to rebound Tuesday vs. Indiana, after home Rutgers loss
Johnny Davis and the University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team look to bounce back Tuesday after a disappointing loss over the weekend.
The Badgers (19-5, 10-4) dropped one spot in the rankings down to No. 15, as they head to Indiana on Tuesday.
Davis had 11 points Saturday in a 73-65 home loss to Rutgers. That is the La Crosse native’s second-lowest point total of the season and the second-least number of shots attempted (5-for-10). It was just two games before that, when Davis scored his lowest point total this season, going 2-for-13 in scoring 4 in a 51-49 win over Penn State.
Back on Dec. 8, Wisconsin won 64-59 over Indiana (16-8, 7-7). Davis had 23 points in that one.
