Wainwright vs. Woodruff, as Brewers look to playoffs with six games left in season
The Milwaukee Brewers are back on the road for six games to close out the regular season.
Tune in for Brewers-Cardinals on WKTY, beginning with pregame at 6:05 p.m. Listen on 96.7 FM / 580 AM.
Milwaukee already clinched the NL Central division, and will play the East Division champ — likely the Atlanta Braves.
The Brewers are two games back of the LA Dodgers for the second-best record in the NL … and the two teams close out the season with three games in LA.
First, three games at the St. Louis Cardinals, who just took four in a row from the Brewers in Milwaukee.
Adam Wainwright, the resurgent 40-year-old with a 16-7 record and a 3.06 ERA takes the mound for St. Louis against Milwaukee’s Brandon Woodruff, who is just 9-10 on the season but has a ridiculous 2.52 ERA and 208 strikeouts in 175.1 innings.
