After exactly a month off due to COVID-19, the top-ranked University of Wisconsin volleyball team didn’t miss a step in its return Sunday.
The Badgers remained undefeated with a 3-1 (25-14, 22-25, 25-15, 25-23) win over fourth-ranked Minnesota.
Despite the month hiatus, the Badgers retained the No. 1 ranking.
Dana Rettke had 17 kills and seven block-assits, while Lauren Barnes had 20 digs for the Badgers (11-0, 11-0 Big Ten).
Minnesota got 15 kills from Taylor Landfair.
Wisconsin hit .303 (63 kills-20 errors-142 attempts) to Minnesota’s .204 (44-19-122).
Wisconsin now heads to No. 9 Penn State for back-to-back games Friday and Saturday, before closing out the regular season against No. 24 Michigan.
