How did I get here?: Oh boy, how we got here is simple. I took a REALLY bad beat on Sunday, and if you were reading this column and took any of my advice, so did you. I’m sorry. I really did think the Titans would at least SHOW UP in the first half against the Browns at home, but it simply didn’t happen.
The Titans (-5.5) not only DIDN’T come through for us, neither did the **UNDER** play (54) which I strongly considered taking along with the spread. Good thing I didn’t do that because the Browns not only BEAT THE HECK out of the Titans 41-35 to obliterate the spread play, the total of 76 crushed the total play (if you made that).
This was, in the world of sports betting, a BAD BEAT.
I’ll try to do better today!!!

What’s on the table today? Monday Night Football double-header? Yes please!! This morning I jumped all-over a really good line…Buffalo (+1) against the 49ers….in Arizona!
I realize this is still a road game for Buffalo, but this is ALSO a road game for the 49ers, who due to Santa Clara (CA) county health regulations have been forced to relocate to Arizona for Week’s 13 & 14 to play in the Cardinals “University of Phoenix Stadium”.
Say what you will about the lack of home-field advantage with no fans in stands, but you’re still in your own bed, with your own facility, and a litany of other comforts that make playing at home more advantageous. The 49ers are at a serious disadvantage here, playing there “home” game on the road, and the Bills are going to take advantage of that.
At the time of writing this column, the odds-makers have already moved the game firmly into Buffalo’s favor, with the line now being set at BUFF (-2.5), meaning the Bills went from ONE point underdogs, to TWO AND A HALF point favorites in less than five hours. We did good taking this game early.
While it’s true that San Francisco will be essentially playing for their season tonight, this game sets up very well in favor of Buffalo, and we LOVED taking them early this morning as a one point dog.
Go Bills!
- Bills are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games after accumulating more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game
- 49ers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games on grass
*Arizona is inside, BUT, it’s real grass!*
