WATCH: Stanford beach volleyball recreates Top Gun scene

Maverick, Goose, Iceman and the other guy can’t be outdone.

It looks as though the Stanford University beach volleyball teams wants a piece of Top Gun 2.

The team posted this to Twitter on Wed., a tribute or audition for the sequel complete with “Maverick” leaving early on her motor…bicycle.

Of course, nothing will outdo Maverick, Iceman, Goose and that other guy in the homoerotic volleyball scene from 1986.

Tom Cruise did confirm there will be a sequel to Top Gun saying, “It’s true,” Cruise said with a grin on Sunrise, according to Inverse.com. “I’m going to start filming it probably in the next year. It is definitely happening.”
