La Crosse’s Davis coming off best game, as Badgers play Dayton from Bahamas on Wed.
La Crosse native Jordan Davis looks to make it three consecutive double-digit scoring games, when the University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team takes on Dayton on Wednesday afternoon from Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
Davis is coming off his best-ever performance as a Badger when he hit a career-high three 3-pointers, in scoring 11 points and adding three rebounds, two steals, an assist, a block and no turnovers over 33 minutes in a Wisconsin 56-45 win over UW-Green Bay.
Before that, the 6-foot-5 junior guard scored a career-high 13 points in a 60-50 win over Stanford.
Davis is third on Wisconsin (3-0) in scoring (10.0 points) and rebounding (4.0). He’s shooting 45.8 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from beyond the arc.
The Wisconsin-Dayton game begins at 1:30 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN2. The Flyers are 3-1,
