A much needed day off Monday for the Milwaukee Brewers, who haven’t won a series since the end of June.

Pregame for Brewers-Twins on WKTY begins at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday. Listen on 96.7 FM / 580 AM

Things won’t get any easier than what the Brewers just gave away the past two series, either.

The Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates are two of the worst four teams in the National League, and they also each just took two of three games against the Brewers at Milwaukee.

Beginning Tuesday, the Brewers head to Minnesota for two games, against a Twins team that has the third-best record in the American League.

Rookie Jason Alexander gets first crack at the Twins. The 29-year-old is 2-1 in six starts but has a 4.75 ERA and just 17 strikeouts to 15 walks in 36 innings.
