What’s on the table today?: Jon Denton Special + Dave’s Bucks/Nets Game 6 play
This morning Jon Denton (our Sports Betting insider) dished us up a couple of very tasty NBA Championship futures plays, which could pay off HUGE if the right team wins.
I’ve got my play ready for tonight’s Bucks (-6) vs Nets (+6) play lined up as well….so let’s jump right in!
Jon Denton Special
NBA Championship futures odds:
- Hawks +3000 (Fan Duel)
- Bucks +700 (Bet MGM)
- Suns +350 (Bet MGM)
As Jon pointed out this morning, each of these teams remain relatively healthy, which if you’ve been paying attention, might be the biggest factor into who wins or loses this years’ NBA Championship.
The Hawks are coming off a stellar 26 point come-from-behind win in Game 5 vs Philly, and they now lead 3-2.
The Suns are sitting at home waiting for the winner of the Clippers/Jazz series which just saw the Clippers take a 3-2 lead thanks to Paul George playing hero…as Kawhi Leonard will likely miss the rest of the series. Phoenix however is dealing with their own concerns, as Chris Paul has been ruled out INDEFINITELY in the COVID protocol.
Milwaukee needs to win tonight just to stay alive down 3-2 to Brooklyn…
Dave’s Bucks/Nets Game 6 play
Simply stated, I don’t have a great read on how this game actually turns out. Everything in my opinion will be based on how these two teams come out of the block, who’s got the energy, and who’s the most locked in.
To that end I’ve decided to make just one play, UNDER 56 total points in the 1st quarter. If the Bucks have any aspirations to win, they’re going to be playing tough D, making KD work for everything he gets and trying to expose James Harden. If those things do happen, you’ll see a lower scoring 1st quarter.
