Overall Record (with additions since our last post prior to Thanksgiving): 103-78

How did we get here?: Prior to the Thanksgiving holiday my record was 101-77. With the Ravens/Steelers game originally scheduled for Thursday night (Thanksgiving) now being pushed back to Wednesday, we still don’t know how my OVER the original total of 46.5 will look, even though I don’t think it looks good on the over.

The other action I took over the holiday weekend included the Texans (-3) vs DET (which they covered), the Packers/Bears game on SNF OVER the total of 45 (which Green Bay nearly covered on their own), and the Broncos/Saints game OVER 45.5 (didn’t come close, final score NO 31, DEN 3). That Broncos game, much like this TBD Ravens/Steelers game show you just how risky betting in 2020 is.

My two wins and one loss brought my overall record up to 103-78 (with a pending bet).

What’s on the table tonight?: Monday Night Football (Seahawks @ Eagles). The last time these two teams met was in the NFC Championship game with the Seahawks winning 17-9. The Eagles are struggling mightily right now (3-6-1) and quarterback Carson Wentz is having the worst season of his career. That said, the Seahawks give up a ton of points even to bad teams…so….you know I had to take the UNDER 49 total points on this one.

While the Seahawks defense is surely suspect, the Eagles have managed just 34 total points in their last two outings, against the Browns and Giants respectively. I just can’t trust that offense to get much going, especially now that we’re hearing backup rookie QB Jalen Hurts was getting 1st team reps this week.

For my money, tonight I’m taking the UNDER 49, and feeling like it might be a tasty winning treat to wrap up Thanksgiving weekend.
