Kobe King will miss tonight’s contest against the Iowa Hawkeyes with what Wisconsin basketball tweeted is a personal matter.
He did not travel with the Badgers to Iowa City
Badgers beat reporter Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reported that a source told him King is, “frustrated with the direction of the team.”
The guard is just 10-for-34 from the field, averaging 6.8 points his past four games.
Still, his overall total of 10 points per game is more than twice his output last season.
King was Mr. Basketball in Wisconsin his senior season, leading La Crosse Central to a state championship.
