The win streak is up to 16 games.

Four more and the Milwaukee Bucks tie the franchise high, set back during the NBA championship season of 1970-71.

Bucks-Grizzlies Friday on WKTY
Coverage begins beginning at 6:30 p.m. on 96.7 FM / 580 AM.

That’s when Kareem Abdual-Jabar and Oscar Robertson were running the show.

Now, it’s Giannis Antetokoumpo and company. The Greek Freak is still questionable tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies with a sore quad.

Milwaukee didn’t need him, blowing out the Pelicans by 15 points Wednesday. They might not need him tonight, either, as the Grizzlies are on a six-game home losing streak.

That’s not to say the Grizzlies aren’t exciting. They have, what will likely be the rookie of the year, in point guard Ja Morant, who’s averaging 18.7 points and 6.4 assists.

It should also be interesting to see sophomore Jaren Jackson Jr., match up against Antetokounmpo. The 20-year-old is averaging 20.7 points this month.

Meanwhile, the reigning MVP, Antetokounmpo, is second in the league in scoring at 30.9 points, and fifth in rebounds at 13.2.

Even if he’s out, Khris Middleton has been on a tear since his return to the lineup. So far this month, the 28-year-old is averaging 18.8 points on 54.9 percent shooting, including 48-percent from beyond the arc. He’s also pulling down 7.0 rebounds and dishing out 4.2 assists.
