La Crosse’s King, Badgers look to end two-game losing streak tonight
The University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team looks to end a two-game losing streak tonight.
La Crosse native Kobe King and the Badgers head to NC State (5-3).
Wisconsin-NC State begins at 8:15 p.m. tonight on ESPN2.
La Crosse native Kobe King is averaging 10.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, one steal, 1.5 assists and 1.7 turnovers for the Badgers.
The redshirt sophomore is third on the team in scoring but shooting just 41.3 percent from the field (19-for-46) and 30.8 percent from beyond the arc (4 of 13).
Wisconsin dropped to 4-3 after losses at the Legends Classic in Brooklyn, NY, to Richmond (7-1) and New Mexico (7-2). Richmond’s only loss is to No. 18 Auburn. New Mexico also lost to Auburn at the tournament, as well as to UTEP.
NC State (5-3) is coming off a five-point loss to No. 16 Memphis (7-1).
