UW-La Crosse women’s hoops off to 4-1 start, averaging 77 points a game
The UW-La Crosse women’s basketball team is off to a 4-1 start and has put up 101 and 93 points already this season.
After a 93-54 against Lakeland on Saturday, the Eagles are averaging 77.4 points a game.
Their leading scorers Saturday, though, only had 13 points apiece and only four players were in double-figures.
So, how did UW-L score 93? It had 15 players hit a field goal.
Lindsey Knuth and Katie Waukau both had 13, while teammates Kailee Meeker and Ali Sprangers scored 10 each for UW-L, which shot 54.7 percent from the field 42.3 percent from beyond the arc (11 of 26).
Next up, the Eagles are at Hope College on Tuesday and back home for their Thanksgiving Classic, beginning Saturday.
