After an 0-3 start to the season, the seventh-ranked University of Wisconsin volleyball team has rattled off six consecutive wins, after sweeping Texas A&M 3-0 at the UW Field House on Saturday night.

Senior Sarah Franklin had 14 kills, 10 digs for the Badgers (6-3). It’s her fourth double-double of the season and 30th of her career. Senior teammate Julia Orzol had a season-best 15 kills, plus four digs. She is four shy of 1,000 career digs.

“I thought our hitters were patient in hitting good shots and working the areas of the court that they felt like they could score,” UW coach Kelly Sheffield said, “but Oz was really, really great at the net. Like she said the other day, shes at 98% healthy, so we’re getting there.”

After four matches at home, Wisconsin will hit the road again to play at Minnesota on Wednesday night at 8 pm. The match will be aired on the Big Ten Network.
