WATCH: Central looks for first win, with Reedsburg coming to La Crosse
Rivalries will be renewed throughout Wisconsin on Friday night as conference play kicks off in high school football.
WKTY’s game of the week features Central hosting Reedsburg, as both teams are looking for their first win of the season.
The Riverhawks (0-2) were shut out by Waunakee in Week 1 and fell 27-14 to Ellsworth last Thursday.
Central will look to get their ground game going.
Through two games, Gavin Shepard leads the team in rushing with 78 yards on 23 carries. Quarterback Christian Rudrud is 14 of 22 for 106 yards with an interception on the year.

Reedsburg is playing its first game of the season.
The school canceled it’s first two games while allegations of students harassing members of the local Amish community were investigated. Nine juveniles were cited for disorderly conduct, though it’s unknown how many were members of the football team.
