UW-L men’s basketball hosts first-round WIAC tourney matchup Tuesday; Eagles women on road

The UW-La Crosse men’s basketball team will host a first-round game in the WIAC tournament.
At 7 p.m. Tuesday, the third-seeded Eagles (14-11) will face No. 6 UW-Stout (11-14).
UW-L split with the Blue Devils, winning in La Crosse 77-69 on Jan. 10 and losing on the road Feb. 7, 74-68.
Meanwhile, the UW-L women’s basketball team is a fifth seed in the WIAC tournament and will play at No. 4 UW-Platteville at 7 p.m. Monday.
The Eagles (12-13) split with UW-P (14-11) during the regular season, losing at home 75-67 on Jan. 13 and winning on the road 76-64 on Jan. 27.
