Two weeks ago, they took down the No. 3 team in the country, snapping a 19-game losing streak in the process.

Last weekend, the UW-La Crosse football team grinded out a 21-17 win over UW-Platteville.

Over that span, the Eagles have moved up 10 spots in the D3football.com Top 25 rankings and now sit at No. 4 in country.

The Eagles (5-1, 3-0) were ranked 14th when they beat UW-Whitewater on the road, 37-34.

Now, they’re in the driver’s seat, alone at the top of the WIAC, with UW-Oshkosh coming to town. The Titans (4-2, 2-1) are ranked just outside the Top 25.

That game will stream live on WKTY, beginning at 12:45 p.m.
