Tonight on WKTY: Hilltoppers look to clinch share of conference title
One final tune-up Thursday night for two MVC foes before they enter the playoffs.
The Onalaska High School boys basketball team (17-5, 10-1) bounced back Monday from the tough loss to La Crosse Central by knocking off Menomonie by 34.
Evan Anderson leads them in scoring with 19 points per game. A win by Onalaska means they would earn at least a share of the conference title.
Meanwhile, Holmen (11-11, 5-6) will look for its third win in four games.
Seniors Drew and Reid Tengblad, the team’s 1st and 3rd leading scorers, will be recognized before the game.
Holmen will travel to Hortonville next Friday for a playoff date in Division 1. Onalaska will host the winner between Logan and Sparta, also on Friday.
