Badger forced to cancel game due to positive COVID-19 tests
The University of Wisconsin men’s basketball called off its game on Thursday, due to COVID-19.
After having to scramble Tuesday to find an opponent to play, after another team cancelled its game due to COVID-19, the Badgers had to cancel themselves.
UW medical officials made the decision after positive COVID-19 tests were found within the program.
Ticket holders will be notified via email on steps due to the cancellation.
Wednesday, the 24th-ranked Badgers (9-2) found George Mason to play Thursday, after Morgan State cancelled.
Wisconsin next plays Dec. 29 at the Kohl Center against Illinois State.
