What’s on the table today?: Jon Denton Special: NFL Hall of Fame Game, CFL kickoff & Milwaukee Brewers

This morning on the program our Sports Betting insider Jon Denton served up THREE “JDS” plays for NFL, CFL and even Brewers baseball.

In Jon’s first play of the day he took the Pittsburgh Steelers to cover a very scant (-2) in tonight’s NFL Hall of Fame Game, and also played the UNDER 32.5 points citing strong historical data pointing to the UNDER play in H.O.F. games. The Steelers are also the better team tonight as they have a legit back-up QB competition going between Mason Rudolph and Dwane Haskins. The Cowboys didn’t even send Dak Prescott with the team as he’s rehabbing an early “sore arm” from camp.

Next up Jon took us north of the border to the CFL (where he played several seasons as QB) to look at tonight’s (REAL) CFL kickoff as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats hit the road to face the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Hamilton is currently a (-3.5) favorite after opening up as a (-4) favorite and are also the odds-on favorites to win this year’s Grey Cup. Jon is taking HAMILTON (-3.5).

Finally, Jon gave the surging Brewers a look on the FIRST FIVE INNING line with Milwaukee 11-2-1 in their last 14 games through five innings. Betting on MLB’s first five innings is a popular way to bet with the consideration of relief pitchers and closers generally being left out of the equation. With the San Francisco Giants heading to American Family Field for the start of a three-game series on Friday, Jon says the recent success of the Brewers in the FIRST FIVE INNINGS makes a Friday play on the Brewers another entry into our “Jon Denton Special”.
