What’s on the table today?: Updated MLB World Series Odds
The Milwaukee Brewers are on an absolute tear, winners in 14 of their last 16 contests, feasting on some of the league’s worst teams.
Will that hold? Will the Brewers be able to keep up this pace through the summer and into the postseason? These are still very tough questions to answer and with the Cubs playing as well as they are right now (winners of 6 of 7 and currently tied with the Brewers for 1st in the NL Central), Milwaukee won’t be able to let up even a little bit.
However, odds-makers in Las Vegas are starting to show some love to this Brewers team as evidenced by their recent surge up the betting boards on World Series futures. If I would have told you prior to the start of the season that the Brewers, 65 games into the regular season, would be tied for the 11th best odds to win it all, would you have believed me??
I doubt it, but here we are, and there are the Brewers, now just +2200 or 22/1 to win the World Series. Go Crew!
