Matt Thomas is a Toronto Raptor no more.

The Onalaska native goes from a team that doesn’t have a home, to the best team in the NBA.

Thomas was traded to the Utah Jazz for a second-round picked on Thursday, the NBA’s trade deadline.

The 26-year-old shooting guard has played off and on for the Raptors this season, his second in the NBA.

The 6-foot-4 Thomas, who’s a career 45.7-percent shooter from deep, opened the season drilling 3-of-5 3-pointers to go with four assists in 20 minutes. But he’s only topped 20 minutes two other times — both this month.

He scored 11 points, going 4-for-7 from the field and 2-for-3 from deep against the Detroit Pistons on March 3, and played another 20 minutes 10 days later against Charlotte, but was 2 of 7 from the field.

Toronto doesn’t have a home this season, because COVID-19 protocols don’t allow them to travel to and from Canada. The Raptors were playing out of Tampa all season. They have the seventh-worst record in the league.

Thomas now moves to a Jazz team with the best record in the NBA, at 32-11 — three games better than the Milwaukee Bucks
