STREAKS, STATS AND NOTES — The 49ers won both meetings at home last season, winning 37-8 in the regular season and 37-20 in the NFC title game. … The Packers are 0-2 against the 49ers and 19-4 against all other opponents since Matt LaFleur took over as Green Bay’s coach last year. … Packers QB Aaron Rodgers’ 3.16 yards per attempt in the regular-season meeting vs. the 49ers last season was the lowest in his 181 career starts. … Green Bay’s Davante Adams has seven TD catches this season to tie for the NFL lead, even though he missed two games with a hamstring injury. … This marks the first time the Packers have played regular-season road games with the 49ers in consecutive seasons since 1973-74. … The Packers have turned over the ball a league-low three times, but they also have just four takeaways to match Dallas and Las Vegas for the NFL’s lowest total. The Packers’ three turnovers represent their lowest total in franchise history through the first seven games of a season. … Green Bay has controlled the ball for 32:52 per game to lead the NFL in time of possession. … LaFleur and 49ers passing game coordinator Mike LaFleur are brothers. Matt LaFleur also worked with 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan on staffs in Houston (2008-09), Washington (2010-13) and Atlanta (2015-16). … Green Bay could be without its top three running backs: AJ Dillon and Jamaal Williams because of COVID-19 concerns, Aaron Jones because of calf injury. … The 49ers will be without starting QB Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle), 2019 All-Pro TE George Kittle (foot), leading rusher Raheem Mostert (ankle), and WRs Deebo Samuel (hamstring), Kendrick Bourne (COVID-19) and Brandon Aiyuk (COVID-19). … Backup QB Nick Mullens threw for 238 yards and two TDs in the fourth quarter last week at Seattle. … Mullens has made 10 career starts, including two this season. He averages 8.4 yards per attempt in his career. … The 49ers were held to 2.36 yards per carry last week for their third-lowest mark in four seasons under Shanahan. … Trent Taylor is the only available WR for the 49ers with a catch this season. Taylor has nine catches for 77 yards. … TE Ross Dwelley caught his third career TD last week on his 23rd career catch. … San Francisco LB Fred Warner is the only player in the NFL with at least 60 tackles and two INTs. … Fantasy tip: Undrafted rookie RB Jamycal Hasty struggled last week with 29 yards on 12 carries. But the Niners rushed for 397 yards in the two games vs. Green Bay last year, and Minnesota’s Dalvin Cook had a huge game against the Packers last week. So Hasty could be in for a bigger game this week.
