Badgers cancel Saturday’s game against Nebraska, after positive COVID-19 tests
Big 10 fans didn’t have to wait long for the first coronavirus-induced complication of the season.
Just five short days after the Badgers opening win against Illinois, the team announced Saturday’s game against Nebraska is cancelled due to a large number of positive COVID-19 tests.
Wisconsin's game at Nebraska has been canceled due to an elevated number of COVID cases within the Badgers program.

As predicted by Zach on Tuesday’s Wisco Sports Show, Wisconsin was dangerously approaching the 5% positivity rate that necessitates a freeze on all team activities.
Quarterbacks Graham Mertz and Chase Wolf are among the known positives, as is head coach Paul Chryst. With no bye weeks on the Big 10’s schedule, the game will be ruled as a ‘no contest’ and will not be rescheduled.
