The Minnesota Timberwolves were part of the first trade deadline transaction and it was a big one.

In a four-team trade, the Wolves sent Robert Covington to the Houston Rockets, and will receive Malik Beasley, Juancho Herangomez and Jarred Vanderbilt from the Denver Nuggets, along with the Atlanta Hawks’ Evan Turnver and their first-round pick (which is from the Brooklyn Nets).

The Rockets also received Jordan Bell and a 2024 second-round pick from Minnesota.

The Hawks got Clint Capela and Nene, while the Nuggets received Shabazz Napier, Keita Bates-Diop and Noah Vonleh from Minnesota along with the Rockets’ Gerald Green.
