NCAA tourney volleyball teams, including Badgers, to have open practice Thursday in Madison
The University of Wisconsin volleyball team is hosting the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA volleyball tournament this Friday and Saturday.
Before those games, though, the fourth-seeded Badgers and the three other teams in the regional will have open practice that’s free to the public Thursday at the UW Field House.
Open practice schedule:
Wisconsin, noon-1:30 p.m.
Texas A&M, 1:45-3:15 p.m.
Nebraska, 3:30-5 p.m.
Hawaii, 5:15-6:45 p.m.
Fans attending the practice are asked to enter the Field House at Gate B or Gate C.
The Badgers will play 15th-seeded Texas A&M at 1 p.m. Friday. After that, No. 5 Nebraska plays 12th-seeded Hawaii.
Wisconsin (24-6) is ranked fifth in the nation, while Nebraska (27-4) is sixth. Texas A&M (23-7) is ranked 25th. Hawaii (26-3) not ranked.
The winners go on to the Elite Eight and will play at 5 p.m. Saturday at the UW Field House.
The NCAA Final Four is Dec. 19-21 in Pittsburgh, Penn.
