After 2 state titles in last 3 years, Bangor football coach resigns

He’s been the high school football coach at Bangor for the past 18 seasons.
Wednesday night, however, the school board accepted the resignation of Rick Mullenberg.
Bangor won a state title two of the past three seasons, and lost to the eventual state champs in season inbetween a game away from Camp Randall.
Mullenberg won 143 games and nine conference titles in those 18 years.
Assistant coach Kevin Kravik was named the new head coach.
