The UW-La Crosse baseball team started the season 2-2.
Since, the 10th-ranked Eagles have rattled off 15 consecutive wins, including a four-game sweep over No. 24 UW-Oshkosh.
The Eagles (17-2 overall, 8-0 WIAC)) are two years removed from getting to the NCAA Division III championships.
Last year, they lost in the first round of the DIII playoffs to UW-Whitewater, which is currently ranked No. 1 in the nation.
UW-L looks to continue its win streak at 1 p.m., home Wednesday, beginning a three-game series with UW-Platteville.
