Bucks overcome snowy travel and postponements to blow out Heat in Miami
The Bucks had a hard time getting out of town because of the snow.
Town, though wasn’t Milwaukee. The first-ever Blizzard warning for the Gulf Coast in history, and the ensuing snowfall kept the Bucks in New Orleans longer than anticipated — and postponed that Wednesday game.
It also forced Thursday night’s game to start later than scheduled in Miami against the Heat.
Despite fighting the snow since Monday, and pushing Thursday’s game back an hour, the Bucks pulled out a 125-96 win over the Heat, who played without suspended Jimmy Butler again.
Damian Lillard had 29 points, 11 assists and 9 boards. He jacked up 15 3-pointers and made five of them.
Giannis Antetokounmpo had 25 points, 12 rebounds and shot 10 of 28 from the field but 5 of 10 from the line.
The Bucks are at the Clippers tomorrow night. Tune in on WKTY beginning at 9 p.m. Tune in on 96.7 FM / 580 AM.
