Love gets turkey this time, as Packers get first-ever Thanksgiving Day win at Lambeau
The first-ever turkey day win at Lambeau Field, and Jordan Love finally got some leg.
A year after the Fox broadcast booth ate all the turkey before Jordan Love could get any for beating the Lions, the 26-year-old QB got some this season.
Love was 21-for-28 for 274 yards with two touchdowns to Jayden Reed and no interceptions, as the Green Bay Packers beat the Miami Dolphins 30-17 on Thanksgiving.
“It was special,” Love said afterward. “I think, obviously, the joke is not getting a turkey leg last year, so be able to come in here, get the win, get the turkey leg after it was very delicious and just a little something to celebrate.”
