Sheffield gets 300th career win with Badgers, who sweep Rutgers on road

The ninth-ranked University of Wisconsin volleyball team had no problems with Rutgers on the road last night, winning 3-0.
The Badgers (8-4), who got coach Kelly Sheffield career win No. 300 with the team, will now face 25th-ranked Washington at the UW Field House on Sunday afternoon.
Wisconsin is 1-4 against ranked teams this season, including losses to the Nos. 1, 5 and 6th-ranked teams to start the season.
Since that 0-3 start, though the Badgers are 8-1. Wednesday’s win was also the 17th consecutive over Rutgers.
