The Riverhawks (1-2, 1-0) struggled offensively in nonconference play, but exploded last week against Reedsburg with a 43-27 win.
Quarterback Christian Rudrud accounted for three touchdowns and over 200 total yards — much of that success coming on the ground. Teammate Derek Pangier caught two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Onalaska (1-2, 0-1) has relied more on the ground game this season following the graduation of quarterback Adam Skifton and their top four receivers.
Cam Cornett has over 350 yards rushing and five touchdowns. They’ve alternated wins and losses so far this season.
