With the No. 23 pick in Wednesday’s NBA draft, the Milwaukee Bucks picked 6-foot-5 guard AJ Johnson.
The 19-year-old, who was going to play high school at Kanye West’s Donda Academy, before it closed, went on to play for a California prep, before heading to the Australian National Basketball League.
Before that, he had committed to the University of Texas but then went pro.
In Australia, Johnson played less than eight minutes a game and averaged just over two points.
