WKTY Cares Supports New Onalaska Community Center Facility
The City of Onalaska is looking to bring forth their vision of a premier multi-generational facility to serve the area’s senior population and youth at 515 Quincy Street. This dream has been in the works since 2015 but is coming to fruition, with the project out to bid soon.
The new Community Center be ADA accessible, and feature a gym, multi-purpose rooms and more. They plan to raze the current building in the fall, with the goal of opening the new facility in 2025. The city’s vision is a multi-generational facility where both the young and old can thrive, create relationships and maintain healthy lives together.
This will be a regional facility as well, not just for Onalaska residents!
Thanks to our sponsors, Performance Foods Service and Kratt Lumber, WKTY Cares is proud to make a $1,000 donation to support this addition to our community!
If you are able to donate as well, you can do so at their Give Butter page HERE!
