Eighth-ranked West Salem girls face Onalaska in rematch to get to D2 section championship

Two area teams look to get to the Division 2 section championship on Thursday when top-seeded and eighth-ranked West Salem faces No. 2 Onalaska.
Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Central High School.
This will be the second matchup of the season between the two teams but the first meeting was awhile back.
West Salem (22-4) won that Dec. 2 meeting 65-57 at Onalaska (18-7) — the third game of the season.
The winner will take either third-ranked and top-seeded McFarland (21-5) or No. 3 Elkhorn (22-4).
The sectional championship will be at 1 p.m. Saturday from Baraboo High School.
