Aquinas ranked fifth in latest poll, but falls Tuesday to Onalaska, which just dropped out of Top 10 rankings
Two Coulee Region boys basketball teams didn’t change rankings in the latest AP polls but that could change next week, after Tuesday’s games.
Aquinas (11-2) stayed at No. 5 in Division 4, while Cashton (12-0), with one first-place vote, remains ranked third in Division 5.
One are team dropped out of the Top 5, but did make some noise Tuesday night, after the polls were released.
Onalaska had been ranked 10th in Division 2, but now sits just outside the Top 10.
The Hilltoppers, however, beat Aquinas 60-49 on Tuesday night, a game that was video streamed on WKTY.
