A quiet game for La Crosse native Lexi Donarski in an 81-68 North Carolina win over Virginia in women’s basketball Sunday.
After scoring double figures in six of eight games, including outputs over 20 twice, Donarski had just three points on 1-of-5 shooting against Virginia.
It was the senior’s second consecutive three-point outing for the 20th-ranked Tar Heels. But this one ended in a win. She was 1-for-10 last week in a loss to No. 21 Florida State.
The Aquinas graduate is averaging 10.9 points, 3.1 rebounds on the season, shooting 37.3 percent from beyond the arc.
