Badgers face Texas in NCAA final four, two seasons after winning championship
The University of Wisconsin volleyball team is headed back to the Final Four for the first time since winning the title two seasons ago.
In an incredible showing Saturday at the Madison Fieldhouse, the third-ranked Badgers beat No. 6 Oregon 3-1 (25-22, 25-22, 27-25, 25-18).

At 8:30 p.m. Thursday on ESPN from Tampa, Fla., Wisconsin (30-3) will face No. 5 Texas (26-4), with all eyes on the potential title matchup.
On the other side of the bracket top-ranked Nebraska (32-1) faces No. 4 Pitt (29-4).
Back on Oct. 21, the Cornhuskers handed Wisconsin its first loss of the season with a 3-2 win in Lincoln, Neb., in a battle of undefeateds — the Badgers ranked first, Nebraska second.
A month later, however, Wisconsin avenged that loss, handing the Cornhuskers their only loss of the season in convincing fashion with a 3-0 sweep in Madison.
The championship will be played at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Last season, Wisconsin was knocked out in the elite eight.
