WKTY Cares supports local 4-H clubs in La Crosse community
WKTY Cares has donated $1,000 to support the invaluable work of local 4-H clubs in the La Crosse community. Join WKTY, to embark on a journey of support, collaboration and the celebration of the remarkable impact that local 4-H clubs have on the future leaders in the community. 4-H is learning by doing – youth learn faster by being involved. It’s about learning how to stand up and share their voice with others. Youth are taught how to be active and engaged citizens in their communities and help others through service.
Kids are also given the opportunity to make mistakes in a guided environment that cements their passion for learning. Not just children take part – families do, too. They’re connected with a network of caring community members, who share common interests and support their ability to thrive.
WKTY Cares is proud to stand beside local 4-H clubs.The funds provided aim to support 4-H initiatives, ranging from educational programs and workshops to hands-on projects that instill life skills in the participants.
