Onalaska avenges week 2 loss; cruises past Medford in level 2
After putting up 56 points in a level 1 playoff game over Rhinelander, the Onalaska football team continued its offensive production in a 35-16 win over Medford on Friday night.
The weather was drastically different from the Hilltoppers’ 52-35 week 2 loss to Medford, but quarterback Adam Skifton was once again nearly flawless.
Skifton finished the night with 339 yards, 4 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. He had put up 313 yards with 5 touchdowns in the week 2 loss.
Three touchdown catches came from Senior Brodie Mickschl who had 183 yards on 9 catches. Carter Gilhausen finished the scoring in the 4th quarter with one of his own.
Brady Kuhn had 78 yards on 16 carries and a touchdown.
Onalaska advances to level 3 next week to face off with the Rice Lake Warriors, who defeated Sparta 50-20 on Friday.
