The top two collegiate volleyball teams in the nation square off Saturday, when top-ranked Wisconsin heads to No. 2 Nebraska in a battle of undefeateds.
On top of being 18-0, the Badgers haven’t lost a set in nine matches. The last time they did, it was against No. 3 Florida. After falling behind 2-0, UW got the 3-2 win.
Wisconsin has the nation’s longest winning streak, winning 30 consecutive sets, after beating Ohio State 3-0 on Wednesday night.
The win was also the Badgers 27th consecutive Big Ten victory, a school record, which includes a 19-game conference home win streak.
Wisconsin-Nebraska begins at 6 p.m. Saturday and can be seen on the Big Ten Network.
Last season, the Badgers made it to the Elite eight, while Nebraska lost in the Sweet 16.
