Small Division remains loaded with four ranked Coulee Region high school football teams

Four area high school football teams remain in the Top 10 of one division poll, making the playoff outlook a little lopsided in the western part of the state.

Coincidentally, all four teams remain exactly the same as they were last week: No. 3 Cashton, No. 4 Aquinas, No. 6 Pepin/Alma and No. 7 Bangor.

Only Aquinas and Bangor have suffered losses.

One other team sits just outside the Top 10 and that’s Westby in the Medium Division.


Here is The Associated Press high school football poll. The poll includes first-place votes in parentheses, season record, total points and last week’s ranking, as voted upon by a statewide panel of sports writers. Teams are arranged in three divisions of equal size based on current enrollments:
