Raiders haven’t beaten Green Bay since 1987, when Bo Jackson and Marcus Allen were in backfield
It’s been quite awhile since the Raiders have beaten the Green Bay Packers.
Pregame for Packers-Raiders tonight on WKTY begins at 5 p.m. Kickoff at 7:15 p.m. Tune in on 96.7 FM / 580 AM
First, they were in L.A. but most notably, perhaps, their backfield consisted of Bo Jackson and Marcus Allen, which might be the greatest one-two punch in NFL history.
The Packers offense sounded something like this: Randy Wright at QB, Kenneth Davis at running back, Walter Stanley was the primary wideout while linebacker Brian Noble and safety Mark Murphy led the defense.
And while it’s been 36 years, the losing streak by the Raiders to Green Bay is only eight games.
