WKTY Cares about the Sparta Half Marathon

WKTY Cares presented a $1,000 check this month to Andy Hutson, race director for the the Sparta Half Marathon and 5K.
The donation comes thanks to sponsors Kratt Lumber Company of La Crosse and Performance Foodservice.
Hutson works handson with every detail of the race — from sponsorships, to course design and registration.

Hutson moved the race from October to this month, because June is Men’s Health Awareness month. The race is partnered with Bigger Than the Trail, a nonprofit that helps young men get counselling.
