In Milwaukee, Ohtani sets Statcast-era mark for highest HR
MILWAUKEE (AP) — Shohei Ohtani’s third-inning home run Sunday, off Colin Rea, reached 162 feet above the field.
That is the highest ball since Statcast started tracking in 2015. The solo shot helped the Los Angeles Angels beat the Milwaukee Brewers 3-0 on Sunday to avoid a three-game sweep.
Shohei Ohtani's homer had 6.98 seconds of hangtime.

It's the longest hangtime for any home run in the Majors this season and the longest for any #Angels home run in the Statcast era (since 2015) https://t.co/HwHKzAPWrl
Ohtani hit his seventh home run of the season on an 85.9 mph cutter from Rea (0-2). Ohtani is batting .394 (13 for 33) in his last eight games and .294 for the season.
