William’s last-second shot leads Central to regional win over Onalaska

A game-winning shot with 1 second to go from Nic Williams gave the third-seeded Central High School boys basketball team the regional championship with a 41-39 win over second-seeded Onalaska on Saturday.
Henry Meyer led the way with 17 points for the Riverhawks (21-5), who trailed 39-30 with 5 minutes remaining. Williams pitched in 13 points, including eight of the team’s last 11.
T.J. Stuttley scored 13 for the Hilltoppers (19-6), while Evan Anderson added 12.
