WKTY Cares presented a check this week to La Crosse YMCA thanks to sponsors Kratt Lumber Company of La Crosse and the Reinhart Food Service, who donated the $1,000.
During a visit to the Dahl YMCA on Main Street, it became obvious that the YMCA provides countless services and opportunities to those in the La Crosse community.
We got to see first hand how the YMCA promotes healthy lifestyles through the wellness center and pool, provides constructive social time for young gamers in its E-Sports lab, and rehab opportunities for ill or elderly folks.
The YMCA pool is undergoing renovations, and all the locker rooms downstairs are being completely redone. Stop in and see for yourself.
